This course, approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is for the persons who you choose to; take charge when somebody is injured or falls ill, including calling an ambulance if required; looking after first aid equipment; for example restocking first aid boxes.
Remember that an appointed person should be available at all times while people are at work, this may mean appointing more than one.
Successful delegates will obtain a statutory First Aid at Work appointed persons certificate, approved for the purposes of Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations for use in the work place.
Holders of this certificate fulfil all the requirements as laid down by the HSE.
